The Erasmus+ project “The Pressure to Connect: Tackling Digital Stress and Addiction” was held in Navarra, Spain, from 20 to 27 April 2026, bringing together youth workers to address the growing challenges of digital stress and technology addiction. Implemented under KA153 – Mobility of Youth Workers with the reference number 2025-3-ES02-KA153-YOU-000369026, the project was organised by Asociación Tecnología Ética (Spain) and involved partner organisations Debreceni Sport és Kulturális Központ (Hungary), INTERCULTURAL INSTITUTE OF LEFKADA (Greece), Aktif Gençlik Platformu (Türkiye), S.C CYBERWARE CLOUD S.R.L (Romania), and Stowarzyszenia Polish Healthy Life Association (Poland). Youth workers from across Europe came together to exchange experiences, develop solutions, and explore good practices related to digital well-being, responsible technology use, and the impact of digitalisation on young people and youth work.
The “Spot the Changes” activity provided an energetic and engaging introduction to the project. Coordinated by Türkiye, the activity encouraged participants to use their observation, attention, and communication skills while interacting with one another in a fun and supportive environment. The exercise helped establish trust among participants and created a positive atmosphere for future collaboration throughout the project.
An orientation session led by Asociación Tecnología Ética introduced participants to the project programme, working methods, safety procedures, and the cultural characteristics of Navarra. Participants gained essential information about the project while also becoming familiar with the local environment and community. The open and interactive format encouraged questions and discussion, helping everyone feel comfortable and prepared for the activities ahead.
The “Scroll or Soul?” activity, coordinated by Türkiye, invited participants to reflect on their personal digital habits. Through a series of interactive scenarios, youth workers explored the difference between passive digital consumption and meaningful digital engagement. By sharing their thoughts and experiences, participants developed greater awareness of how technology influences their daily lives and discussed ways to build healthier relationships with digital tools.
Sessions delivered by Poland focused on the Erasmus+ Programme and Youthpass, providing participants with a deeper understanding of non-formal learning and international mobility opportunities. The role of Youthpass in recognising learning outcomes and supporting personal and professional development was explored in detail. Evaluation activities coordinated by Romania encouraged participants to reflect on their learning progress and identify key takeaways from the experience. The cultural evening further enriched the intercultural learning environment, allowing participants to share traditions, customs, and perspectives from their respective countries while strengthening mutual understanding, intercultural dialogue, and international cooperation.
